Oliver Lewin
Born 1991 in Melbourne, Australia, at a young age Oliver Lewin relocated with his family to Santa Monica, CA. Lewin earned his bachelor's degree in music at The New School in New York City, where he studied composition at Mannes College under David Loeb and Leo Edwards. In addition tocomposition, Lewin's studies centered around ethnomusicology with a focus on the traditional musics of Japan and Australia. His music includes works for orchestra, chamber ensembles, choirs, andinteractive sound installations. In addition to his own work, he has scored award-winning films and video games.
